Party Time!
I made the escort cards. Each table had a picture on it in a frame and people had to match up the picture on their escort card to the picture in the frame (although the table number was also written on the back, and displayed in the frame as well). We used a lot of fun pictures from Halloween, Saint Patrick's Day, vacations, etc.

First Dance
I was tripping over my dress during our first dance. I knew my dress was big and heavy and I had thought that maybe I might want to change into something easier to dance in, so I had bought a second dress at Nordstrom's Bridal Suite. I had been calling it my 9:30 dress because that's when I planned on changing into it... around 9:30 when the crazy dancing was happening and we were done with all the big events like the First Dance, the Parent/Child Dances and the cake cutting.
Well, that was a good though, but after trying to dance the rumba with my husband - we danced very well but not as well as we COULD have danced if I'd been in an easier skirt to move in - I realized there was no way I was going to be able to triple swing in it with my dad. So my 9:30 dress became my 7:45 dress - ie. the second I finished dinner and right before the parent/child dances!

The Cake!
The cake was provided by the pastry chef at the restaurant DH used to work at. Each of the four layers was a different flavor -
1. Chocolate cake with hazelnut mousse
2. Vanilla cake with strawberries and cream
3. Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and strawberries
4. Almond cake with chocolate mousse
The flowers / decoration are all the leftovers from making the centerpieces, alter decorations and bouquets.
The cake topper is the one that my parents used at their wedding.
The platter was borrowed from my Matron of Honor.
